Description

NGC 6888 (also known as the Crescent Nebula or C 27) is a diffuse nebula visible in the southern part of the constellation Swan.

NGC 6888 It is located 2.5 degrees south-west of the star γ Cygni, immediately west of a very rich stellar field, in which objects such as M29 and IC 4996 are included. The most intense part of the nebula lies to the west, and forms an arc extending more in declination than in right ascension; this characteristic has caused the nebula to be called crescent, as it has a 'hump' to the west, like the Moon in its crescent phase. A telescope is needed to locate it, even one with a small aperture; binoculars barely allow a glimpse under clear sky conditions.

Again I'm testing out my knowledge in Acquisition and PP, which require a lot of time.

This one its around 12 hrs, of integration.
